Cal - 1/13/2020

Callahan ate whole grain Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomatoes, avocados, and ate his mandarin oranges.

Every two weeks I start the Blogs this way:  We did toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so everything is new and different and the kids always stay super busy on Toy Exchange Monday.  Or as Atley calls it; "New Toy Monday!!"  :)  In the first picture Linnea has found the new doctor toys - and some of the doctor toys really are new, not just part of an exchange.  I like how Linnea has the stethoscope around the back of her head.  Haha!  I wonder what Medical School she attended.

Next picture; Cal is exploring the car ramp toy.  This is a favorite toy of everyone!!  Following picture; Cal was watching Svea play and she kept saying, "Try to get me! Try to get me!"  "Try to get me!!"  :)

Last picture; Well now Cal has on the stethoscope (he's even got it pretty much headed in the right direction) and he's reading the 1 2 3 book.  Here's my interpretation of the picture; He's trying to please both Mom and Dad!  Yes Mommy, I may go to Medical School!  Yes Daddy, I'll be a numbers man!  Hahaha!  This is a really cute book.  If you zoom in on it you may be able to see the author/photographer has used dogs and arranged them in the shape of numbers.  He does it 1 - 10 in the book.  And it's very well done.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
