Cal - 1/24/2020

Callahan ate oatmeal and baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger stew with meat, tomatoes, green beans, and carrots.  Also, he had a few bites of whole wheat dinner roll and ate apricots.

First picture - I don't usually allow kids to bring their own toys in the Daycare room. (Unless they want to bring 3 or 4 identical ones!!)  However, I told Atley she could bring her doll in for a few minutes because at that moment it was only Callahan here and of course she promptly left it laying on the window sill.  Guess who found it!  Guess who had a strong negative reaction!  And that's why she took it out to her cubby.  :)

I love this next picture.  Callahan spotted Lauralea in the kitchen and kept saying, "hi hi hi hi," until he got her attention.  :)  Following picture;  Avi, Atley, and Svea were building at the legos table.  (I'd actually started building and then backed away and they continued.)  Callahan came over to see what kind of chaos he could create and sure enough he was successful!!  Haha!!

Last picture:  Cal was playing in the book rack; first shuffling the books around and then standing in it.  I just happened to have the camera ready when he started toppling over backwards with some books in his hands and it looks like he was just laying there all chill reading books this way.  Now you know the real story!!  :)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
