Cal - 1/31/2020

Callahan ate some brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate Alaskan salmon patty, no whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and mangoes.

First picture:  This seems to be one of Cal's favorite spots lately!!  (Judging by how often I see him up there!!  Ha!)  If you zoom in on this picture you might see Cal's mouth slightly misshaped!  :)  He happens to have a legos flower in there; again!!  And when he does that the drool pours out!!  I know you all want to see proof of the drool so I've posted the second picture!!  Haha!  Hey, I'm just trying to please ya'll!!  The mattress cover shows off the drool real well; plus he also left the legos flower behind!!  :)  (I'm a Child Care Provider, but I do detective work on the side!)

Next picture: Linnea was visiting with Baby Miles and Cal came by to see what was happening with these two people!!  I guess he didn't find much because he didn't hang around more than a couple of quick moments!!  "And besides that, Gary is always telling me to 'be gentle' so there is nothing here for me!!"  :)

Last picture: Well Cal did a full circle; back at the legos table where this Blog started!  Actually he did many circles this morning!!  Right before I took the picture he had the legos piece in his right hand hovering suspiciously over Svea's head.  But he's listening well to my words and another disaster was avoided!!  :)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
