Cal - 1/7/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and several bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken and cabbage stir fry which also had peppers, zucchini, olive oil, and spices.  He had bites of brown rice and ate mandarin oranges.

First picture: Hey, I gotta do the daily waving at the window picture!!  Ha!  Cal likes going to the window to join everyone.  This is Linnea'a Daddy they are waving to here.  Or at least Linnea and Atley are waving and Cal is watching them.  Actually it's more like pounding on the window than waving which is probably why it's so interesting to watch.  Believe me, Atley can pound on the window (I do occasionally ask her to pound lightly) and I sometimes wonder how the window stays in place!!  :)

Next picture: I like getting as many kids in one picture as I can and everyone is in this one except Baby Miles.  The four girls were playing a game and Cal was there enjoying the activity and playing with a purse someone left behind!  In the following picture he's watching the Nelson girls play under the blue balance beam!  :)

Last picture:  Callahan is watching Baby Miles who is hanging out in a "restricted area."  Haha!  And that's primarily because of you Cal!!  You love Miles just a little too much!!  haha!  It is fun to have them close to each other when I have time to be right with them, but this is how it works when I can't be there.  (I have other options too, but I frequently use the fence in the Daycare Room.)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
