Cal - 1/8/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork roast, some whole wheat tortillas, ate roasted potatoes, and ate fruit salad.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Callahan got up from his nap.  He was still a bit dozy and that's a perfect time to sit him beside Miles!!  Haha!  He was just content to sit and look at Miles.  They interacted this way for several minutes.  :)

Next picture; Callahan was the first one here this morning and playing with the legos was one of his first activities.  Then Linnea (on the right) showed up and she was super concerned because Cal was taking apart some legos left over from yesterday afternoon.  "Gary, he broke it!! Gary, he broke it!!" That's actually just fine Sweetie because he's having fun with it and the kids can build more legos.  Atley (upper left) also arrived and it was actually her legos creation that Cal had destroyed and she was totally ok with it.  Wow! Surprised me.  Haha!

Last picture: Callahan hanging out in one of his favorite spots.  He still goes to this same spot many times per day.  Notice that he has a toy spatula from the food toys hanging out of his mouth.  He played with the spatula ALL morning!!  :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
