Cal - 1/9/2020

Callahan ate toasted whole wheat bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  He acted famished by 9:00 and was inhaling his breakfast.  Ha!  Wow, that child can eat!!!  For lunch he ate hamburger and sausage pizza with meat, peppers, olives, pineapple, and tomato sauce.  He ate a couple bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we cut it up and serve it on the side), and more pineapple.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  The big kids were running wild so I went over and started building with the legos and the kids immediately joined me.  I continued for a few minutes and then just backed away and this is what always happens.  They were engaged with the toys for several minutes.  It works every time.  Cal came over too and was hanging out inside the legos drawer to be close to the action!!  Ha!

Next picture; Here's Callahan and Linnea at the window again!!  I probably wouldn't have done another "window picture," but I wanted you to get a good look at the little dinosaur!!  (This is what happens when the Daddy is allowed to pick out the child's clothes!!)  Hahaha!  No judgment from me; I'm always impressed the kids arrive dressed and are NOT in their pajamas!!  Next picture: Linnea and Callahan were still the only ones here when I took this picture.  She was impressed with the dinosaurs on his outfit!

Last picture: Callahan puts these dress-up hats on by himself, but Svea was pretty sure he needed her assistance!!  :)  After all she is a professional; notice how she has the bunny ears mounted on her head!!  Haha!!  Pointing straight out!!

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
