Cal - 2/13/2020

Callahan ate waffle and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch he ate turkey meat loaf, a few whole wheat tortillas, bite of sweet potatoes, and half of cherries.

Callahan had a typical morning for him.  He's always in a great mood when he arrives and loves to be silly and interact with everyone.  By 11:00, when I start heating up the food to put on the plates, he's getting pretty tired and letting me know he's ready to eat and sleep!!  In addition to exploring the room and all the things he can find to do, he also LOVES to watch the other kids.  And of course that's a primary way they learn LOTS of different things.  (Mostly good things!!  Ha!)

Here's a picture of Cal watching Atley and Linnea play with the building blocks and some dress-up clothes.  Yesterday I was taking a picture of Avi jumping and spinning off the igloo and it wasn't until I was studying the pictures that I realized Cal was sitting on the mattress and in every one of the pictures; totally glued on what Avilene was doing.  :)

Next picture: He's using the chair for support purposes and walking around and around.  Yesterday I saw him take three steps.  One of these days he's gonna be focused on something, forget all about being cautious, and take off walking.  Following picture: More watching while Svea piles up the pizza pieces.  He was ready to snatch one and she barked at him!!  ha.  Last picture;  Watching Atley and Linnea again.  They were playing on the block shelf.  You can see Linnea's feet sticking out past the tower of blocks.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
