Cal - 2/19/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat toast, ate mangoes and two servings of banana for breakfast.  (We ran out of mangoes so we substituted bananas for second servings.)  For lunch he ate most of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles.  He also ate most of cauliflower and ate fruit salad.

To anyone following Callahan's Daily Blog:  There will be NO Blog tomorrow, February 20th, as I have to report to Jury Duty tomorrow morning.  It's in Municipal Court so I don't anticipate this lasting more than a day at the most.  (Hopefully!)

First picture: All four girls (Avi, Atley, Linnea, Svea) are in the igloo (you'll just have to take my word for it - haha) and Cal was invited to join them.  Now as you can imagine he didn't hang out in there very long, but he was there!!  Ha!!  Too crowded!!

Next two pictures: Cal with the legos and Cal at the sink.  (Standing in the book rack.)  Sometimes these Blogs sound and feel a bit repetitious, but these are favorite things he likes to do and favorite places to hang out.  :)
 

In these last two pictures Callahan was making me laugh.  He was putting the doll blanket over his head and crawling all over the room.  He headed across the room, around the chair, and then sat there looking at what Linnea was doing.

First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
