Cal - 3/2/2020

Callahan ate bites of cheerios and three servings of banana for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, avocado, and half of strawberries.

I told Atley and Avi that Cal saw where I hid "Woody" (from Toy Story) and "Airplane" this morning.  (I hide those two toys every day for the big girls.)  Ok, yes it was a bit of a white lie if you're keeping score!  He was there, but I don't think he had a clue what I was doing.  It was pretty funny!  They couldn't find the hidden toys and were peppering Cal with questions: "Where is it Cal!?!  Where is it!?!  Where are they!?!  Tell us Cal!!"

This first picture was taken early this morning when Lauralea was in the kitchen.  He heard me talking to her and he started in her direction and before he could see her, he was saying,  "hi, hi, hi, hi!!"  That's so cute.  Second picture - Lauralea rode the bus this morning and the kids always wave bye to her out the window.  :)  (She moves along the row and says "bye" to everyone - I just happened to take the picture when she'd stopped in front of Cal.)

Cal is walking everywhere this morning so of course I have to post at least one picture of him cruising across the room.  Good job Cal!!  Last picture; I was pretty impressed that Cal could crawl around the towers Atley and Avi made and not knock any of them over!!

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
