Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, most of beets, and most of applesauce. Four of the kids were sitting on the couch having Story Time; not Cal or Miles.  Cal heard Lauralea in the kitchen and watched her walking down the hall to her office.  He started yelling to her, "Lor Lor, Lor Lor, Lor Lor....."  She loved it. This first picture is a follow-up to a picture I posted yesterday when he was basically tipped over onto his head.  :)  This (see picture below) is what he was trying to do yesterday.  This made the spinner start going around and around when he was squatting on it.  :) More pictures from this morning: He was bending over to give Miles a very sweet "good morning" shortly after Miles arrived.  The following picture is slightly blurry, but it was cute how he was running back and forth across the room and laughing and giggling. ...

Callahan ate half of whole grain Chex cereal and ate pears for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, avocado, and ate mandarin oranges. Today is "toy exchange Monday" and Callahan was grinning from ear to ear when he realized it was all different toys!!  He played with these spinner toys (you see in the picture) first and also several different times today.  Does the second picture look slightly familiar, but taking it to the next level?!?  Before the Covid thing this book rack was his favorite place to stand.  He still goes there, but not to just stand!!  He has to exercise his monkey skills. I was feeding Miles a bottle this morning on the couch and Cal was next to me.  He bent way over and stuck his face up close to my face and said, "Hiiiiii!"  Haha.  It was so cute. Next picture - playing with those spinner toys again.  Cal had been watching Nora and Atley squat on them and making t...

Callahan ate blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with the meat, peppers, tomato sauce, pineapple, and olives.  He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side as the bread), and two servings of pineapple on the side. First picture; There was a rabbit in front of the window when Cal was waving bye to Daddy and Bubba.  Cal watched that rabbit for several minutes as it was eating grass and then hopped out into the middle of the road and sat where Daddy and Bubba had just been sitting.  :)  Following picture; He worked hard to get the last blocks in place, but he had them upside-down.  So I eventually turned the blocks right-side-up for Cal. Atley and Nora were having a "party" (their word) playing with the school buses and Cal was playing close by with a school bus as well.  They were SO worried that he was gonna steal some of their stuf...

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate everything;  pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, carrots, and fruit salad.  I'm sure I've mentioned this in the past, but just an FYI: my servings are large compared to what the Federal Food Program calls a serving!! This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Cal was playing on one of the little climbers.  He'd just gone down the slide on his belly face-first, so I had the camera ready for round two!!  But round one didn't look like a pleasant experience and he only did it once.  Good job Callahan!  Second picture: Miles and Nora were the second family to arrive and Cal always spend a few minutes with Miles first thing in the morning.  He was handing Miles some toys, but ended up tossing them to him.  Or more accurately, pitching them fast-ball at close range.  :) Next picture: Nora and Callahan are under the blanket. ...

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and several dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of chicken, bites of brown rice, ate most of stir fry vegetables and all of his mandarin oranges. First two pictures - Callahan was peeking in at Svea and then bopping around behind the igloo trying to "hide" from her.  :)  I like how she's peeking around to see what he's doing and as soon as he started walking towards her, she quickly scooted right back in her "shell." Next picture; Callahan was spending a little time in the "library."  :)  At this moment he was actually pushing buttons on the book to get it to play the song.  He's been pushing those buttons for two weeks.  I hate to tell you this Cal, but that book hasn't played music for many many many years!  Haha.  (Actually I have told him, but you know how that goes.  Ha.) Next picture: I've mentioned this to Avi's Momma Molly several times, but Avilene is a swe...

Callahan ate cheerios and half of his banana serving for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and bites of watermelon. First picture: Cal was the first one here this morning and I took this picture just after he arrived.  Very cute picture!!  It is such a sweet boy and I have so much fun with him.  I'm so glad I get to help you take care of him.  Second picture; Atley and Nora are hiding out in their "cave."  They said they were "hiding from monsters."  The giggling and chattering under the blankets just makes Cal all the more curious.  He was trying to touch Atley's toes in the picture. Next picture: Nora and Svea built most of this "airplane."  Atley joined them and immediately designated herself as the pilot.  Haha.  I asked, "Where are you guys going?"  Nora said, "To the farm."  I said, "The farm?"  Nora said, "Yes, where they have toys and candy!"  Hahaha...

Callahan ate most of brown rice and most of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, cauliflower, and mangos. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon during outside play time.  Cal had one of the play strollers and at first he was crawling into it and just sitting there.  Then he was pushing it around until he came upon a road block named Miles.  In the second picture Nora and Svea were hiding out under the blankets.  They were yelling, especially Nora, because they were certain Cal was gonna destroy their arrangement they'd been working on. Next two pictures; It's SO cute how much Callahan LOVES Miles!!  I took these two pictures after Miles woke up from his morning nap.  In the second picture Cal was leaning over like he was gonna kiss him, but kind of kept going and bonked his head on the floor.  (It's kinda funny in live mode.) I watch these kind of interactions pretty close, but so far...

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch he ate meat loaf, bites of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce. Cal arrived first and then Atley was next.  When Momma Megan was leaving she said, "Are you going to the window and wave at me Cal?"  Cal immediately turned around and headed right for the window.  :)  He's got that routine down already.  Or maybe I should say he's returned to that routine. Here are several pictures from Cal's morning.  And in case anyone is wondering, Cal is doing awesome at Little Treasures and loving it.  And I'm making that judgment from the smiles, giggles, and laughter.  :)  First picture; He packed these 4 dolls over here, one at a time, and laid them on the step.  Which is exactly what Svea always did at this age too.  She was slightly more gentle maybe.  At least I don't remember her bouncing the doll's head off t...

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes.  He ate saltines and a large serving of tropical fruit.   I already sent Momma Maddy these first three pictures from yesterday afternoon, but I want to post them on the Blog too!!  Here's a bit of the back story for these; Miles is a super mellow baby, over 11 months old and just content to not hardly crawl yet.  He does roll around and has just started to "army crawl" a bit.  So yesterday I watched his eyes get glued on Cal's binky.  (Cal had just got up from his nap.)  Miles crawled over to him and Cal laughed and played and then Cal moved several feet away to the mirror.  Miles aggressively put it into high gear and headed for him.  I was laughing so hard and Nora was flabbergasted because we'd never seen her bro...

Callahan ate waffles and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, most of corn, and a couple bites of baked cinnamon apples. I have a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon so I'm gonna post those too.  As you know I do the Blogs while the kids are sleeping so they only include the morning activity.  Sometimes I'll keep pictures and post them the next day if it's a picture I like.  Svea and Cal were playing as soon as they awoke from their naps.  Cal looks like he's going head-first off the little climber, but actually he pushed himself backwards and saved himself from doing a nosedive.  The second picture made me laugh.  Pushing the bike forward isn't gonna work Cal.  :) I'd been sitting in this chair earlier and Cal had walked over to the chair and started patting it while looking at me.  "Come sit here again!!"  When I didn't follow instructions he decided to sit in th...

Callahan ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch he ate turkey burger, whole wheat hamburger bun, avocado, tomato, and cherries. Hey, while I'm thinking about it I want to pass on this information.  Sometime close to the end of June, Blogger.com is launching a "new interface" what-cha-ma-call-it!  The information says it will be the default for all users.  So if you see a blip for a day or two, or you don't see the Blog, don't panic, I'll get it all worked out!!   :) Welcome Back Callahan!!  SO wonderful to have Cal back and it felt pretty normal.  He whimpered a tiny bit when Daddy left, but he never cried and he had such a good morning.  I really don't think it could have gone much better.  I took this first picture moments after he arrived.  He looks so much bigger!  :)  Three months is a long time in the life of a little person.  He was the first one here and it was kind of nice for him to settle i...
