Cal - 8/31/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, ate avocado, and two servings of mandarin oranges.   

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon, but too cute to delete without Posting!  This was NOT a one-time hat trick.  :)  Callahan kept putting the hat (and other hats) on Miles over and over.  (That's another testament to Miles' temperament!)  He totally didn't care at all.  Callahan was putting hats on himself as well.  A couple of cuties right there!!


Cal found one of Miles' socks laying on the floor and brought it to me.  So I just asked him to "put it on the changing table."  He walked right over and deposited it there.  Good listening Cal and thanks for picking it up when you saw it!!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were super busy all morning.  Next picture: Callahan went to the dress-up rack and brought this to me and asked for help.  That was pretty cute and he even left it on for awhile.  (And the same with the shoes.)  The last picture is really cute.  Svea was playing with the ramp and a couple of cars.  She'd put the cars on the ramp and then not watch them circle to the bottom.  But the boys were right there to scoop them up!  Ha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...

Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
