Cal - 8/3/2020

Callahan ate whole grain Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch's he ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomatoes, ate avocado, and mandarin oranges. 

It was so nice to see this little guy this morning!!  Welcome back Callahan!!  As soon as Daddy went out the door Cal starting asking for Miles; "Mau Mau, Mau Mau, Mau Mau."  Nora and Mau Mau are gone until about the 13th of August.  Cal loves his Mau Mau.

I'd mentioned earlier about blogger.com changing some formatting and changing it's site in various ways.  So far it's not been too painful, but I see the pictures are larger at this end.  Are they larger at your end?First picture: Cal's first piano lesson.  He seems to have natural talent so that's promising.  Second lesson we'll work on "proper seating" at the piano.  We have to take these things one step at a time!!  He likes making adjustments so he may end up being a piano tuner.  Accountant/Piano Tuner.  :)

Here are some pictures from outside this morning.  We will play outside in the mornings on the days it appears heading to be hot in the afternoon.  The Nelson girls brought their parachute with them and the kids were having fun with it.  Cal was hanging onto a handle until they started whipping it up and down and he wasn't sure what that was all about!!  Following picture - The four kids were playing on the airplane/teeter-totter.  Avi the pilot, Atley on a wing, Svea on the other wing, and Cal in the cheap seats. Ha.  Atley is laughing because she's making Svea come off her seat.  Last picture; Well following the parachute and airplane theme!!  Cal was on the little teeter-totter and spotted an airplane! :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
