Cal - 8/10/2020

Callahan ate most of French toast and a taste of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and watermelon.  

Ok everyone, sorry, but no pictures on today's Blog!!  For some reason the pictures I took today will not load on Blogger.com so I'll try to figure that out tonight.  (Blogger.com has been updated so I may need to do something to make sure I'm still compatible.)  The Blog will no doubt be much shorter because I depend on the pictures to tell the stories!!  So I'll just try to paint the pictures for you.  Ha!

Picture # 1:  Avilene and Callahan each had a thermometer from the medical toys and were doubling up on Miles.  They each had a thermometer on the side of Miles' head.  :)  

Picture # 2:  Callahan and Svea were going around and around the big car ramp which was placed in the middle of the room.  (Put anything in the middle of the room and that age group loves to circle it!!)  Then Miles joined them by crawling around and around too.  The only problem; They rarely all go in the same direction at the same time.  Ha. 

Callahan was playing with the car ramps and watching as Atley and Nora had it set up so the car would fly off the edge of the legos table.  They let him try a couple of times and he knew right where to set his car. I also had a picture of him on the bottom step of the climber ready to jump.  "Watch me Gary, watch me Gary."  I think that's one of the first times he's said, "watch me Gary."  (I do hear that phrase a few times every day!!  Ha.)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
