Just want to do a FYI for everyone.  My daughter Christina and Grandson Gideon will be here later today.  So excited to have them coming for a couple of weeks.  I think this is day 20 they've been without electricity in Louisiana from hurricane Laura.  (Think of the heat without air conditioning!!)  Also, I just want to mention that when the air quality is in the hazardous range I will not be taking the children outside.  I have two air purifiers from the Health Department (One was free! ahh, not really free. Thanks to all of us tax payers.) to help with the inside air while the smoke remains.

Callahan ate bites of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For Lunch he ate most of chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, most of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples.

The first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon and the third picture is from this morning.  I love how Miles is watching Callahan play with a set of keys and of course this is how they learn from each other. Second picture; As soon as Callahan left, Miles moved in and started doing the exact same thing.  Third picture; And they are right back to the same activity as yesterday.

Next picture: This is pretty typical of Cal and Miles' relationship!!  Cal doing whatever; and Miles saying, "whatever!!"  Miles did finally squawk about this - "enough already!!" - and I had Cal find another activity. In the middle picture Avilene is snapping a picture of Cal.  I think this is super cute.  I caught it right when he was kneeling and it looks like she has him posing!!  :)  The back story is this; I'd told the girls that we needed more pictures of Miles and Callahan for our digital frame that hangs at the end of the table.  Last picture: Svea and Nora are in their "cave" under the balance beam and Callahan is trying to see them.  You can see Atley as well and she's basically the one who was doing all the work establishing "darkness" in their cave!!
