Cal - 12/03/2020

Callahan ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, ate peas, and strawberries.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when all the kids were playing at or on the airplane teeter-totter.  They were laughing hard and going back and forth pretty fast.  Miles is sitting on the ground trying to hang on, Svea is in the middle seat hanging on, and Cal is in the back trying hard to climb on. Haha!!  He was just about completely on when I took the picture.  

Next picture; This is like less than a minute after waving bye at the window to Daddy Colin and Bubba.  Cal wanted Miles in the chair; "Mau Mau" Mau Mau" pointing to the chair.  Nora also pushed the chair along with Cal and they were taking a break from pushing because they were working so hard.  Ha.  Second picture: Then Nora decided Miles needed to be buried under pillows and stuffed animals.  You can see his feet sticking out. As you can imagine that didn't last long and pillows were moving off very quickly.  Ha.  Cal just stood there patiently waiting so he could start pushing again.  

Next picture;  Avi playing on the mattress with the two little guys.  She loves mauling them and that's how this started; she was mauling Miles and Cal joined in.  The boys love this play.  (Not that I need to tell you that!  Haha.)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
