Cal - 12/07/2020

Callahan ate kix cereal and two servings of apricots for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground turkey with his avocado mixed in, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomatoes, and raspberries.   

This first picture is left over from last Friday.  All six kids are in the picture and this was a popular spot earlier in the week because there was ice on top of the sand table.  By Friday the ice was long gone, but the kids were still looking and Avi found a little piece.  Not a very clean piece I might add!!  Callahan is on the far left and Miles is in the middle of the action on top of the sand table.  Haha.   

Shortly after Atley arrived she and Nora were in the Preschool room and Callahan was in the Daycare Room where he couldn't see them, but he started singing, "Happy Birthday Atley, Happy Birthday Atley." It's Atley's birthday and we'd been talking about it.

Next picture:  Cal grabbed this hat on the way to the window to wave bye to Daddy and Bubba this morning.  So I stuck it on his head and he left it there.  Haha.  Following picture;  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were super busy as always.  This was a little wooden train set and Cal was stacking on the pegs almost immediately after waving bye at the window.  

Last picture:  Before I opened up the Doll House for the boys they were jamming and sticking all the little people in the windows.  Haha.  Typical boys, right?!  This must be how you play with this thing!!

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
