Cal - 01/13/2021

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and ate two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of hearty paleo stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.  He ate two servings of saltines and ate tropical fruit.   

Yesterday afternoon I asked Cal, "Hey Cal what is your new puppy's name?"  Cal said, "Georgia."  There is a short story behind that, but it surprised me and I laughed hard.  Avi and Svea have a new girl cousin and her name is Georgia.  So he's been hearing that name a LOT!!  Just another FYI, Nora and Miles also have a new girl cousin and her name is Gianna.  (No idea if I spelled it right.)  Cal knows the puppy's name, but he also knows it makes me laugh to say something random!!

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon when Avi was putting her hat on Callahan and Miles. There were obviously 3 hands tugging on the bill of that cap when I took this picture.  The two boys had just gotten up from their naps.  Following picture;  Cal is still in his pajamas!!  Haha.  Explanation: Cal had a big poop and I was letting his pants "air out" and it was too chilly for him to run around in his diaper.  And it was close to lunch time and then nap time anyhow.  Cal was intentionally closing his eyes when I was taking the picture.  Silly boy.  

Next picture:  Avilene was having fun throwing her blanket over Miles and Callahan.  You can see their the shapes of their heads under the blanket.  Haha.  They were having fun too, but I guess you'll just have to take my word for that!!  :)  Last picture:  Cal joined Nora and Svea who were pretending to have a "sleep-over" on the mattress.  That's been one of their favorite activities for several months.  They look a bit more comfortable than Cal does.  Ha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
