Cal - 01/19/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate half of chicken, half of brown rice, bites of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  

First picture:  Atley and Callahan were the first ones here and She had the wolf mask and Cal had the hard hat.  Atley said, "Hey Cal!! How about you be the construction guy and I'll be the big bad wolf!?!"  Haha. I'm not familiar with that version of the story!!  But I liked how the progression happened; The "Construction Guy" ended up chasing the wolf!!  Good stuff!!

Next picture:  Cal and Atley were reading books on the couch and Miles decided he wanted up there too.  He had a book in each hand, but threw them on the floor (rather than lay them on the couch - ha) and when he made it onto the couch he yelled for someone to fetch his books for him.  Haha. 

Avilene will sometimes do Preschool activities by the fence like this to entertain the younger ones.  Callahan enjoys it and was watching her.    When Avilene did it for Miles he got mad because he couldn't reach one of the puzzle pieces. Haha.

Last picture:  Avilene was snuggling with me and she was making silly faces watching herself in the mirror.  Callahan meanwhile, was busy trying to reach my head with his plastic fork.  Haha.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
