Cal - 02/02/2021

Callahan ate two servings of blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and two servings of raspberries.  

I took this first picture right after Miles waved bye to Daddy at the window.  Callahan was at the window as well and spotted the moon and was saying, "moon, moon, moon."  Miles quickly spotted it too and was pointing at it.  The boys were not at the window very long, but the clouds had quickly hid the moon from view.  All the time Cal was chanting, "Where the moon? where the moon? where the moon?" I was chanting, "Clouds hiding moon. Clouds hiding moon." Clouds hiding moon."  :)

Next picture:  Here's Cal's socks in the middle of the entrance room.  He has a daily routine - about 30 minutes after arrival he takes off his socks, goes to the gate, and pitches them over the gate.  Haha.  This morning I told Colin we could just skip that step and leave his socks in his cubby, but Cal wasn't having none of that!!  He wanted his socks on.  So I told Colin I'd take a picture when the socks came off.

Cal was walking around saying, "rojo, rojo, rojo."  I've been teaching the Preschool girls some Spanish words for their colors and rojo is red.  And Cal listens and has great retention for what he hears.  Another example is the next picture.  Cal built this tower of blocks and that was his Christmas Tree.  And he started singing the tune to "O Christmas Tree."  Which he's recently heard the big girls doing here.  Last picture;  I'm not sure what they were playing, but Svea and Cal were holding hands and walking around the room.  I just want you to notice who's leading and and who's in control here.  That's all I'm gonna say!!  Haha.
