Cal - 02/17/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, bites of potatoes, and ate fruit salad. Speaking of food, Cal didn't even make it into the Daycare Room this morning - between the cubbies and the gate - and he said, "Gary, I'm hungry." Well good morning to you too Cal!!  :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Cal was perched on the toy shelf in one of the sinks. Atley jumped up beside him and was pretending to cut some food toy with the "knife." I just thought it was cute with them situated side-by-side like this. 

Next picture: This is a recreation of an actual occurrence!!  Ha! Nothing fake posted on these Blogs! Ha. Svea was hanging out at the gate after breakfast waiting for Cal to hurry up and get done so they could play. She apparently thought he was about done because she started giving him the thumbs-up sign. Even during breakfast she was trying to do all his talking for him: "Cal wants more toast Gary." "Cal is done Gary." :) Following picture; and they did play together when Cal was done eating. They are playing on a pillow that is more slippery on one side with little "bumps" on it. So they were taking turns going down the "big" slide. :)

Last picture; This was pretty cute because Avi had been reading to the boys and they were watching and listening pretty intently. Then Miles got a bit distracted by Avi's sock. Haha. You can see he's still tugging on it and messing with it. Avi did a good job of ignoring him and kept right on reading.
