Cal - 02/24/2021

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of Whole 30 Chili with meat, tomatoes, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomato sauce, and lots of spices. He ate saltines and tropical fruit. 

First two pictures of the boys hanging out near each other playing. First picture is when they met in the Library for Story Time. :) Following picture; Miles initially was playing with all 5 doll bottles in the sink. Pretty much just enjoying shuffling them around with a spoon making a racket! Cal was able to confiscate a couple of them and he's trying to stack them. Haha. Good luck with that.

Next picture: The 4 girls were done with breakfast first and they were all anxiously "hiding" and waiting for the boys to come look for them. (The boys really didn't have a clue what the girls were doing. And that seems to be a common life-long theme for us in the male Gender group!! Haha.) Avi was hiding under this cozy corner rug and Cal never did locate her until Svea led him over there. Avi said, "That was hard; to lay still and be quiet!" And she did for a long long time.

Last picture: Svea and Cal built these little stacks and were standing here at the gate pretending to talk to people in the entry way. "Hi Hi, is someone out there!?!" Then "hi Mom" "hi Dad." THEN Svea started recalling the time Cal was covered in poop. (Probably because this is where the kids were lined up watching the show from the gate!) She had her hand on Cal's back saying, "And you had poop ALL OVER your back and everywhere!!" Then she added, "Gary put you in the washing machine!" LOL!! Avi yelled, "NOT the washing machine!" Haha. It was so funny. (In case you don't know it was the sink!)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
