Cal - 03/16/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of chicken, half of brown rice, most of broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges. 

So yesterday I was telling Maddy how Cal frequently says that Mom is gonna pick him up. Today his first words to me were; "My Mom is at home." His second statement; "I want your clown pants!" LOL. As of right now Cal I'm seriously considering passing those on to you. Haha!! 
Cal was on a roll this morning! Here's one more, but I gotta preface it by saying we frequently hear Alexa playing "Christmas Songs" usually requested by Atley or Nora. One favorite is "Santa Claus is coming to town." So Cal asked if Miles was coming; "Is Miles coming to town?" Haha. I roared. You're seriously funny Callahan. 

Callahan has heard this phrase from the older girls; "I don't feel like talking." (Usually when they're trying to give someone the "cold shoulder.") Yesterday at Snack Cal said - randomly and to no one in particular, "I don't feel talking." Ha! He only left out one word! :)

First picture: Miles loves to "fist bump" with anyone who is available and willing. Cal does too, but Miles is a bit more obsessed. This is the first time I've observed them "fist bumping" with each other. :) Second picture: Cal was getting a bit upset with Svea because she wouldn't "wake up" and get ready to go to "the store!!" He was saying, "Come on Svea, come on!!" "Wake up Svea, wake up!!" I think Miles was just hanging out there for moral support for his buddy Cal. Ha. You can see in the last picture Svea finally woke up and they were headed for the store. Ha. They are sitting on a couple of blocks.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
