Cal - 04/01/2021

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and ate dried plums. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of strawberries. 

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon. The kids have been having a blast going outside and we all love the fresh air. Now that it's officially Spring we hope the weather cooperates!! Good bye to the snow for 6 months maybe. :) All the kids are under the parachute except you can see Atley holding up the parachute and Miles is partially hidden behind Atley.

Next picture; Callahan was playing with a Super Hero house in the chair and Miles started pushing the chair around and around. Cal didn't even act like he noticed he just kept on playing and Miles kept on pushing. Following picture - the boys doing one of their daily fist bumps. Miles is obsessed with the fist bumps and Cal accommodates him. :)

Last picture; Cal was building with his blocks. What do you think he built here? Guess before you look at the answer - in small print - below the picture! Haha. This hint will give it away: He's obsessed with these household appliances. Every day at Nap-time he goes over to the robot vacuum and tells it goodnight! "Goodnight vacuum!" Of course I encourage it because I think it's adorable. :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
