Cal - 04/06/2021

Callahan ate three servings of blueberry waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and baked cinnamon apples. 

I took this first picture yesterday afternoon when we were outside. It was pretty chilly and I wanted another layer on Cal so he got to wear my shirt. Ha. Personally I think this is very cute. :)

I took this next picture of Callahan during breakfast when Svea was "instructing" him on what the universal "choking sign" looks like. He's doing it with one hand, but he wasn't about to turn loose of the grape in his left hand. He just kept on eating. Regardless of the threats Svea was throwing his way if he didn't start doing it correctly. Haha. He just kept popping grapes in his mouth!

A couple more pictures from Cal's morning. Hanging off the couch backwards and then off onto the floor. Over and over. Ha. I had one picture that looked pretty sketchy so I decided Momma didn't need to see that one!! Ha. Actually he was not hitting the floor hard, but it sure looked like it in the picture. In the following picture he has the cars lined up for some kind of display. :) Miles and Nora came back early - initially they were not gonna be here today, but they made it before Lunch and everyone was happy to see them. :)

Last picture; I had to make a quick trip to the tire shop this morning - before breakfast - and Lauralea covered for me while I was gone. They were reading books when I got back so I took a picture of them "counting penguins." I like how closely Atley is following Cal's progress when it's his turn to count.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
