Cal - 04/13/2021

Callahan ate two servings of raisin cinnamon English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, brown rice, half of broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges.  

This first picture of Cal in his highchair came from yesterday after snack time. Well that's one way to get crumbs out of your bib Cal! Haha. This morning after breakfast Cal was still in his highchair eating. Avi asked me; "Hey Gary! Is Callahan gonna be here today?"  I said, "Hey Avi! I wanna introduce you to someone! This is Callahan!" She'd sat through all of breakfast and I guess her mind was elsewhere. Ha. 

Next picture: Cal reading his book and Miles was reading one nearby as well. (I didn't check to see if Miles had his upside-down too. ha.) Following picture: The boys were dinking around in the igloo and I lifted it up to get some light and take a picture. :)

Next picture; Now it's Svea and Cal in the library. She was giving him orders how to handle a book. Sometimes he listens and then he'll get tired of getting bossed around and move on to something else. Ha. Last picture: I really have no idea what Atley was conversing with Callahan about, but I just thought it was cute that he'd left the boots on his hands and was motoring around on the floor like that.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Cal - 08/17/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
