Cal - 05/03/2021

Callahan ate most of his kix cereal and ate fruit cocktail for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground turkey, two servings of toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, ate tomato, avocado, and two servings of peaches.

First picture: Kids can be SO random!! The first thing Cal said to me this morning; "Gary, will you spray my head!? Gary, will you spray my head!?" Haha! Occasionally - not very often - I've sprayed water on Cal and Miles' hair and combed their hair. So I sprayed his "head" and combed his hair. :) You're looking pretty dapper there Callahan!! 

Second picture is about his next request; "Hey Gary, I wanna color!" Atley was the only other child here at that moment and she went up to him and kinda whispered; "Cal, you can say please if you want to." Haha. Geez, that was cute and so funny how she added, "if you want to." So he did a bit of coloring and then on to some stickers. He said, "I make this for Mom." 

Cal spent some time in the Preschool Room today and he loved it. First he and Svea played with the battery powered cars and they work so much better on the hardwood floor. Then in the last picture they read some books together in the chair. Previous to this Cal had already been reading for a long time. Svea had control of the book here and was "reading to him!!" And she was "demanding quietness" from him while she read!! "Be Quiet!! I'm reading!!" :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. This next picture is pretty funny as Cal was singing, "I'm keeping your .......?!?........ forever and ever." Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
