Cal - 06/09/2021

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch: no pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, no potatoes, and ate fruit salad. 

Cal was the first one here this morning and when he walked in I asked, "What music shall we play today?" Cal said, "John Denver music." Ha. You know it Bubby!! Good choice. I'm assuming I can take credit for this unless you all play his music at home. :) Minutes later Miles and Nora arrived and I asked Nora, "What music is this?" She said, "John Denver music." Haha. Welcome to Culture at Gary's House. :)

First picture; This one was pretty cute and Miles was sure Cal was huddled down here for a game of peek-a-boo. Ha. And Cal did go along with it for a few minutes. Following picture; Callahan had burrowed his head under the pillow so Miles just started piling pillows and animals on top of him. Ha. Didn't take long for Cal to literally come ripping and tearing out of there. :) 

Momma Maddy text me to let me know Cal was not himself this morning and seemed a bit off. His mood was fine until about 10:30 and then he was ready to take a nap. And you'll notice he only ate one thing at lunch. He just wanted to go to bed. So other than getting majorly tired about an hour before Lunch he did pretty well this morning. I kinda like this picture!! :)  So I'm blaming this on Tu Tu; after all he left here with her yesterday!! :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
