Cal - 06/14/2021

Callahan ate bran cereal and one or two raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken with avocado on top, two servings of  toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, and ate mandarin oranges.  

Callahan asked me to have Alexa play "Frozen." In the middle of a song he started telling and explaining what was happening in the movie at that point. I finally said, "Cal, I have NO idea what you're talking about. So he started saying the exact same thing all over again.; except this time talking much louder. Ha. That was so cute. Sorry, but my lack of hearing is not the problem this time. Haha.

First picture: Callahan had asked me to have Alexa play "Baby Shark" next. You can see Cal is doing the motions and Miles was giving it a shot as well. Miles had been pounding his fists together, but started clapping by the time I took the picture. Miles is actually having more fun watching himself in the mirror than trying to do the "baby shark" motions. Ha. 

Next picture: Nora was on the blocks and said, "Hey Gary! I'm skiing." Callahan and Miles were watching very closely and they started giving it a try. I didn't get any good pictures of them so I'm just posing this one so you get the idea. Ha.

Last picture: I poked around the corner and Cal was reading to Nora very cutely. Notice how Nora is all cozy - in the "cozy corner." When Callahan noticed I was there he said, "I'm reading to Nora." So cute.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
