Callahan - 06/10/2021

Callahan ate blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of our homemade hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust we serve on the side, and ate pineapple on the side.  

Cal was the first one here this morning and he asked for "John Denver music" again. You got it buddy!! So I was saying, "Hi my name is Gary (shaking his hand) and what's your name?" He said, "Baby." Glad to meet you Baby. Repeat a few times. Same answer from Cal. Glad to meet you "Baby Boyle." So I did it after Lauralea came upstairs, same answer. Haha. 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Atley was pulling half of the Daycare population. Ha. (The Nelson girls had already left.) It actually started hailing before Atley left and pounded some hail for several minutes. Atley said it looked like "bunnies" bouncing across the yard. :)

Next picture: This scene made me laugh! Silly kids. I'm not sure what Avi was doing, but Cal and Miles were looking for Svea. Cal was saying, "Svea, are you in there?!" He was referring to the clothes rack. "Svea, are you in there?" Miles is peering in from the other side. Meanwhile Svea was yelling from the bathroom to let me know she was done. Haha. Avi knew where Svea was and I think she too was just getting a kick out of these boys looking for Svea. 

Next picture: I LOVE seeing the kids read books and I grab the camera every time. Well maybe not every time, but LOTS of the time. :) Last picture; Avi was playing with the boys on the mattress; lots of jumping, rolling, "tossing" them, and then she moved to the couch and they immediately followed. She is really good with these little ones. Well done Avi.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
