Cal - 07/01/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground beef, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and ate applesauce. 

Wow, this was a completely different boy that came into Daycare this morning, different than the one screaming and yelling when arriving yesterday and again screaming and yelling when leaving with Morgan. I carried him out to your car and loaded him up for Morgan. "Bye Morgan. Nice to meet you and good luck." :) Everything was good, wonderful, and back to normal in Cal's world this morning. :)

Cal asked, "What are those?" pointing at two garden tools. "Why are those out?" I said, "I used them last night for trimming the rosebush and cutting out the dead stuff." Cal said, "Oh that's sad." LOL! Cracked me up. (He most likely just heard the word "dead.") 

Pictures from this morning: Cal was moving the stuffed animals off the mattress first thing this morning. The first two he threw up into the air - I never said anything - then he reminded himself to "lay them down, lay them down." Very nicely done Cal!! Following picture: Cal was flopping straight backwards off the blue balance beam.

Next picture; Avi and Svea are at the lake today so the boys joined Atley and Nora at the table for a little bit of Science with Lauralea. It had a "4th of July" color theme and the boys are holding some glitter bottles that I helped them make. Last picture: Playing in a bucket of water with some big paint brushes. Ha. The big girls kept their distance because water sprayed around when these two guys were swinging their paint brushes. :)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
