Cal - 07/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken topped with avocado, no whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumbers, and ate pears.

We did a toy exchange this weekend and it's been a few weeks because we were on vacation and then my cleaning people were on vacation!! The kids were VERY excited to have new stuff and it was fun to watch the excitement.

Miles was randomly saying, "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba." Over and over. Cal finally said, "Don't say Bubba. That's my brother." Miles response? "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba." Repeat this many times and you get the idea what I was listening to. Haha. 

Cal was the first one here and had so much fun playing with the new stuff. The two pop-up toys on the right sing 4 different songs and Cal was enjoying those. Second picture: He had the school buses and was loading them up with everything he could find until it was full. He said, to himself not me, "I'm going bye- bye." Third picture: Obviously this was at breakfast and Cal was pretty much done. Then he started acting silly and closing his eyes and making himself laugh. And making me laugh too. :)

The boys had fun playing outside after Nora went to Swim Lesson. The Nelson girls were not here until after Swim Lesson and Atley is with her Cousins today and tomorrow. Miles was inside the big box (I installed a new washer this weekend) and Cal was peeking in at him. I could hear Miles squealing from inside the box. :) Following picture: Waving bye to Lauralea. Miles stayed two or three steps back, slightly apprehensive while watching the garage door go up and down. :) Last picture: More play with the cars and car ramp on the patio.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
