Cal - 07/27/2021

Callahan ate bites of blueberry bagel and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice soaked in blackberry juice, ate broccoli, and black raspberries.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Cal and Svea were playing on the phones. This happens frequently with the kids, but the details of this conversation were cute. Here's a couple things I heard Cal saying: "What's up?" Then he said, "Come back to Gary's house!" Then he followed that up with the popular; "I'll call you!!" :)

Next picture: We moved the box into the house for a couple of days and the kids were enjoying it this morning. Nora and Cal are poking their heads out the "window" I cut in the side. Any time they build a shelter like this they call it their "cave." Following picture; Cal moved all these books to the couch. When we were getting ready to go outside I asked him to put them back in the bookrack. He initially said, "I don't want to." But he ended up moving ALL of them by himself and he was very proud.

The big kids were at Swim Lessons again and Cal asked for bubbles. So we did that and I thought it would be fun for just the two boys having a much greater chance of getting the bubbles!! Cal chased the big bubbles and had a great time. I think Miles had a good time too, but the lack of competition didn't change his strategy at all!! Haha. He just stood there waiting for the bubbles to hit the ground and walked over to step on some of them. Haha.
