Cal - 08/02/2021

Callahan ate bites of kix cereal and ate fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey mixed with two servings of avocado, two servings of toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and ate cherries.

Is this not the cutest picture ever of Cal!?! I think so!! :) You're welcome. :) Second picture: It was just Cal and Atley here for 30 minutes this morning before someone else arrived. He was keeping a close eye on what she was doing, but he was also not messing with her project!! That was good thinking Cal!! :)

Miles and Cal reading books and being so calm and sweet!! Haha. Pictures are awesome! So here's the real story: Miles was sitting there with 3 or 4 books reading by himself. Cal scoots up, steals all the books, and whips them behind his back. Ha. No, this was not an isolated incident! They were going at each other from the moment Cal arrived. It's called "Monday Mornings!!" :)

Next picture: All 6 kids: Avi brought a tub full of toys - Toy Story toys - from home to share with all her friends. The kids loved them and stayed busy all morning except for when we went outside. Last picture: So speaking of outside and all 6 kids; here they are again!! I rarely see all 6 on the airplane at the same time, and it's even more rare to get a picture because at least one or two are getting off when someone else is getting on!!

I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
