Cal - 08/11/2021

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, ate whole wheat tortillas, bites of potatoes, bites of carrots, and ate fruit salad.   

There were several kids from Meadow Hill Middle School walking past our big window with a couple of adults. We were all at the window waving at them. Atley saw the adult waving back at us and she said, "I saw that guy in the Olympics!!" LOL! Dang that made me laugh!!

First two pictures: This was the scene at Gary's at 8:00 this morning. Cal was the first one here and he was the only one who got to enjoy watching the workers!! We watched them lay down the hot oil and then the fine gravel on top. Followed by the heavy rollers. I probably enjoyed it as much as Cal did!!

Next picture: I'm gonna title this "The Early Years with My Drinking Buddy!!" Haha. Second picture: More chair spinning this morning. This looks peaceful and calm, but they were initially fighting because they both wanted to push the chair!! Last picture: Callahan had just put my pillows on the couch and now they were pointing out the books for me to read to them. :) Primarily because I kept saying, "What books!? What books!?" Haha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
