Cal - 08/19/2021

Callahan ate two servings of waffle and three servings of fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, whole wheat tortillas, half of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries. 

I guess Cal has heard Alexa play lots of John Denver music at Gary's house!! I randomly said, "Almost heaven." And Cal said, "West Virginia." Haha. Good job Cal!!

First picture: Cal was here by himself until breakfast so he had Eden all to himself. She's snuggled under her blanket and Cal was determined to get some attention!! Ha. Second picture: Eden was setting up the blocks for the domino effect and Cal was keeping a close eye on her work. :) In case you're wondering; He never did accidentally or intentionally knock the blocks over!! Ha. 

Next picture: Miles and Nora's Grandparents brought them to Daycare about 10:15 and then my attendance doubled - not counting Granddaughters. Haha. They were all on the balance beam and mattress having fun. If you zoom in on this picture you'll see Cal has his shoulders hunched-up in preparation for some big jumping I guess! Haha. Last picture: Eden was playing cars with Miles and Cal.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. This next picture is pretty funny as Cal was singing, "I'm keeping your .......?!?........ forever and ever." Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...

Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
