Cal - 08/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and ate dried plums for breakfast. He ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, ate peas, and a bite of cantaloupe.   

First two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon when Cal and Svea were having fun playing together. (Even if Cal did say he had a bad day. haha) They built these block walls to privatize the cozy corner. :) Following picture; Then outside they were giving each other rides in the strollers. If Svea would watch where she is going she might have better luck staying on the sidewalk. :)

Next picture: I took this picture right after breakfast and I was in the middle of cleaning up Cal so he could get down and go play. Silly boy! If there was any food caught in his bib it's now on top of his head. Ha. That's fine; You can't worry much about the little things in life!! :)

A couple pictures from this morning. Atley and Nora made a nice cozy spot using the block towers to create some privacy. They allowed the boys to join them in their shelter and Nora even gave her brother a doll blanket. :) In the last photo all 5 kids - Svea is out sick today - are in a small area building with the legos. And they were all doing their own thing except for Miles and he was observing. After the group scattered Miles commandeered one of the other projects. Haha. Good plan Miles.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...

Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
