Cal - 08/31/2021

Callahan ate bites of blueberry waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, two servings of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and apple slices.

This morning Cal randomly said, "Alexa is still mad at me." LOL! He heard Atley say that last week! And it surprised me when he came up with it today. He knew he was being funny and he liked it when I cracked up laughing!

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon after Atley showed the boys how to "lead" their dump trucks around with a noodle. Ha. It's actually pretty cute in Live Mode. 

Next picture: Atley had Alexa playing "Race Cars" and she and Cal were "racing" back-n-forth across the room. Atley said, "I'm hard to catch in the morning!!" It doesn't look to me like Cal is trying real hard to catch you!! Ha. Following picture; Cal and Svea are both in the picture. Cal is under the pillows on the floor and Svea is under the cozy corner rug on the couch. I actually figured out what "game" they were playing too!! Alexa was playing the Sound Track to "Lion King" and Atley was keeping Cal and Svea safe from "Scar" the "bad guy!" :)

Here are a couple pictures of Miles playing with Callahan. Cal was under the balance beam and Miles was packing food toys to stash under it. Cal said, "Miles not a helper." Huh?! It looked to me like he was being a good helper. Ha. So I have no idea what that was about. When something doesn't make sense I always "chalk it up" to "kids being kids." Haha!! Last picture: Cal was playing with the binoculars and Miles kept running at him and then doing something silly like you see in the picture.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 08/11/2022

Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...

Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
