Cal - 09/07/2021
Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of chicken, ate brown rice, bites of broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges.
I have a note left over from last Friday which I thought was pretty cute and funny. For context, Atley earlier in the week had said, "Svea, You're a genius." I asked, "Why did you say that?" Atley said, "Because she knows all about me!" Haha. So on Friday I heard Svea tell Cal, "You're a genius Cal." Cal said, "No I'm not." Svea was insistent of course; "Yes, you're a genius!! Ok!?!" Cal said, "Ok." LOL.
First picture: Callahan was trying to overhaul the Daycare Chair again. Ha. And then Miles joined in the fun! Second picture; The boys asked for flashlights again and I have about 6 or 7 to choose from. Cal always chooses the same one and it happens to be the oldest and dimmest one!! You can tell the difference in the brightness of the beam in the picture! :)
Next picture: Initially it was just Cal asking Miles to help him take off his sock. Miles was pulling hard, but not getting it off. It didn't help that Cal started kicking his leg as well. Haha. Meanwhile Svea grabbed the sock too, but as you can see from the picture she and Cal were NOT working together. Ha. But we eventually got it off. :)
Next picture: Shortly after Callahan came this morning he said to Miles; "Hi Buddy." Then later when they were standing on the edge of the legos table like you see in the picture Cal was trying to coax Miles into jumping - which Cal had been doing! (Jump on the mattress boys; it's softer landing!!) Cal was saying, "Do it Buddy, do it!" Then Cal looked at me and said, "He can do it." Ha. Except Miles didn't try - which was probably good!!
Last picture: Svea worked hard to build a "cave" around the cozy corner. And she did it all by herself while the boys watched; which she preferred that anyhow. It's too much work to build it AND boss the boys around too. :) Then she eventually took it down and reassembled it around the block storage cabinet.
