Cal - 09/10/2021

Callahan ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast, two servings of green beans, and ate applesauce. I was in the kitchen putting food on the plates and heard some frantic yelling from the Daycare Room. I brought the boys out and got them in their highchairs and then asked Svea; "What happened out there?" (Asking a 3 year old that question is very sketchy at best!! Ha.) Svea said, "Well Miles hit Cal so I wanted to get away from Cal so he wouldn't hit me too." Then she added, "Cal was being mean. No, I mean Miles." Haha. That certainly clears it all up.

The breakfast conversation between Cal and Svea was all about Birthday parties and the one they always mention is "Nora's Birthday Party." Cal told Svea; "You can come to my house when you are 7." Haha.

Callahan was the only child here for about 45 minutes and I took the first three pictures during that time. Riding a horse in the first picture and taking pictures in the second picture. He was looking at the Disney characters on the pop-up toys and said, "They're all friends." He was doing what I was doing; taking pictures! Except his camera is pointed straight down. Haha. Third picture: And as you all know I love pictures of Kids reading books. My favorite!!

Next picture: Seven Mr Potato Heads and LOTS of accessories in the tub and some toys behind the kids as well. I especially like how Svea has 6 arms on her's. Haha. Fill up the holes with arms! This was the first time Cal played with these in the Preschool Room and he loved it. 

Next two pictures: Well both boys are now in their pajamas while their clothes "air out" during Lunch and Nap Time. :) So these three kids had a blast playing all morning. About every 2 minutes Svea is starting a sentence with; "Ok Guys..." or "Hey Guys!!" She definitely keeps them lined out and following her agenda. Ha. Last picture: These boys were both laughing their heads off! Rowdiness rules and it's fun having only 3 kids and letting them be goofy. Over and over Cal would sit on Miles and then tip over backwards! And both laughing like it's the funniest thing in the world. And for them it was hilarious!!

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
