Cal - 10/19/2021

Callahan ate bites of blueberry bagel and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice soaked in berry juice, ate broccoli, and three servings of mixed berries.

Here's a note left over from yesterday morning. I was filling out a form and I said something about "today is Monday" and Cal started singing. "Up with Montana boys, down with the Monday." Haha. Isn't that funny!?!
He asked me this morning if we could read books and I said, "As soon as everybody is here we'll read books." I was writing notes on some paper and he asked, "After you color that can we read books!?" Haha! So you probably can guess what he kept asking me; "Is everybody here, Is everybody here?" Miles came; "Is everybody here?" Svea came; "Is everybody here?" Yes, but now it was breakfast time. (By the way we read LOTS of our "Special" books after breakfast!!) When Svea arrived she had no idea about the background of our discussion, BUT of course she had an opinion and it was a doozy!! She said, "Cal you are not everybody!! You are just one kid!!" And at breakfast she still felt the need to quiz him; "Cal, are you everybody!?" :)

This morning Cal said, "I am a Target Range Tiger!" Svea kept saying, "No you're not! No you're not!" She finally said, "Atley is!!" Haha. And that's true.

First picture: Cal and Miles were running back and forth between the window and the couch. This has become a morning ritual with these two; especially if they are the first two here. Back and forth, back and forth; laughing and giggling having a good time. Second picture: The moment Cal has been impatiently waiting for has arrived and Gary has to take another minute to take a picture of my cute kids. :)

Last two pictures; Cal did Art for a few minutes, but he was done fairly quick and moved on to these activities. Then I realized he was pooping so that probably had as much to do with his departure as his dislike for Art. Ha.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
