Cal - 10/29/2021

Callahan ate brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate no chicken, no whole wheat dinner roll, no cauliflower, and ate fruit cocktail.

This first picture is shortly after Cal arrived and he asked if he could do puzzles again. You bet! I love the fact that he's showing more interest in doing some of the basic activities in the Preschool Room. Who's missing from this picture!?! Svea is, that's who!! He didn't want her hovering over him today doing puzzles so she was in the Cozy Corner upset, but Miles was busy distracting her!! Ha. (She was soon reading to Miles while Cal continued to do several more puzzles.) Second picture: Cal was still eating breakfast and Svea got the camera ready to take a picture. Just one small problem. Notice which direction she has the camera pointed. The old fashioned way of taking a selfie!! :)

Next picture: So after breakfast He wanted to do more Preschool activities and he's sorting dinosaurs from this toy set!! He matches them up easily, but naming the colors is another adventure!! Last picture; Then Cal wanted to join Svea doing some play dough and Cal played with the dough for a long time. And continued on even after Svea had moved on to something else.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
