Cal - 11/02/2021

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of his chicken, bites of whole wheat elbow noodles, bites of his broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges.

Svea frequently asks Alexa to play "Wrecking Ball" and as usual I'd never heard of that song or who sings it. (I did some research and now I know.) One of the lines says, "I came in like a wrecking ball" and that totally fits the standard modus operandi for kids!! On many different levels!! That song should be rewritten and become a kid's song!

When Cal came in this morning I told him; "You got your shoes on the wrong feet." Cal said, "No I don't." "Yes you really do." He said, "No I don't." Haha. "Who helped you put on your shoes this morning?" Cal said, "My Brother." :)

First picture: I'm starting Cal on a nap mat today and he's doing great. (Right now I'm doing Blogs and watching him go to sleep!!)  :)  I showed him his new napping arrangement and asked him if he like it. He said, "Yes, that's nice." Ha. It was super cute. Second picture: Cal and Miles playing with the magnetic handles again moving the buttons around. In the third pictrue Cal is doing some art work. Svea is not in the picture, but she's close at hand telling Cal what he is supposed to be doing!! Haha.

Next picture; Svea was setting up food for everyone and offering them food when it was ready!! I asked, "What are you feeding them?" Svea said, "It's a nut from a pine tree." Then almost immediately she said, "No no no, it's a nut from a nut tree." :) Last picture: She loves getting their water and preparing food for everyone to eat.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
