Cal - 11/05/2021

Callahan ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and three large servings of applesauce. 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the boys were being crazy on the mattress, throwing the doll blankets, and flopping around like crazy! I reminded them several times to say, "fun fun fun" instead of squealing and screaming!! 

Speaking of "fun fun fun" I'm always surprised when Cal remembers lines from songs we've played or listened to in the past! I shouldn't be too surprised because he loves music and language. He was jumping on the mattress this morning and said, "Fun fun fun till my Daddy takes the T-bird away!!" Haha. Beach Boys oldie, but goodie right there.

Next picture; I just thought this was cute because it's usually Svea - the older girls in the past too - who gets all the pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals on the mattress (or somewhere in the room) and gets buried in them. But the boys are well trained and they did it themselves this morning. (They are the only ones here today.) Following picture: They did some drawing with the markers and then spent several minutes doing stickers as well.

Last picture: Well enough of that art stuff for Cal; back to the mattress and craziness!! The guys were having lots of fun this morning. However they did bonk heads ate least once. (I think they did two times, but the first time was worse.) Cal was flopping backwards off the balance beam and Miles moved in at exactly the wrong time. The back of Cal's head hit Miles in the middle of his forehead and left a mark.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
