Cal - 11/08/2021

Callahan ate two servings of chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef topped with avocado, ate half of his toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, and ate mandarin oranges. 

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Cal grabbed a couple of books and went to "his spot!!" This has been his favorite for a long time; long before he was walking he'd squeeze in here and lay down. In the second picture Svea had the food all laid out for her and Cal. She said, "Cal, I'm getting us some fruit snacks!" That's a pretty substantial supply of fruit snacks!! Third picture: Cal and Svea reading books in the cozy corner. Just an FYI: Miles is gone today. He has the same bug that Svea and Cal had.

Pictures: Dress up clothes!! Cal got some shorts on and then Svea was "helping" him with this top. (He's actually reacting to a song Alexa is playing when I took this picture. Ha.) Following picture: Just so you can see that Svea was successful in helping him!! Last picture; More dress-up! This time it's the shoes!! There are a couple pair of soccer shoes and those were the ones they chose!!

Last picture: You've seen several pictures identical to this one and I didn't want you to think that maybe Cal was not doing this anymore. This is after he's done with his meal and he thinks this is terribly funny! Haha. I've almost got him convinced that he needs to check for food before this maneuver. Haha.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
