Cal - 11/23/2021

Callahan ate most of his waffle serving and two large servings of grapes. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortilla, ate corn, and ate his apple slices.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Cal were the only ones here. I asked Svea why she had on the beautiful head-covering. :) She said, "I'm in a wedding." Oh really,,.and who's getting married? Svea said, "Me. I'm marrying Cal and he's marrying me." Ha. Well I'm certainly glad to hear it's reciprocal. Later Svea was still gathering up goods for their happy home and she said, "Hey Cal! I got a new baby from the baby store!!" LOL. That made me laugh! She cracks me up.

Next picture: This is what the boys did as soon as Miles arrived; ran in circles. Like puppies, happy to play and chasing each other. Second picture: Like I said yesterday we did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange (Miles wasn't here so this is his Monday) and so the "beep beep" (Miles terminology) school buses went bye bye and bring on the tractors. I was waiting for this moment and it didn't take long!! Ha. In the picture Cal was saying, "Now don't get my tractor!!" :)

Next picture: Cal was using the "drill" and Svea asked if she could join him. They were screwing bolts in and out of the white board. Another activity they were doing as well: Hiding eggs. Svea hides the eggs in the Daycare Room and Cal waits for her in the Preschool Room. Svea is a bit too specific in giving hints!! Haha. Example: "They might be under my blanket. Lift it up and see." Haha.

Last picture: Cal will get tired of Svea's very structured style of play and go play with Miles. Cal spread his legs wide and Miles immediately dropped and crawled through. Haha. What do you think happened next? Haha. Yup, you guessed it! Cal plopped down and took a ride. Ha. Can't pass up an opportunity like that!!

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
