Cal - 12/01/2021

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, ate whole wheat tortilla, no carrots, ate potatoes, and fruit salad.

Cal was the only one here for a few minutes this morning and I was trying to get a picture of him and he kept his tongue hanging out. Haha. Although this is actually a pretty nice picture!! :) He also asked if we could play "Up with Montana Boys!" So Alexa was playing that and Cal said, "The Grizzlies are off today." Ha. He makes me laugh. So cute. 

Next picture: Cal loves this activity and asked for it again as soon as he was done with breakfast. (I'm just giving you some free hints for his Christmas presents. Ha.) Following picture: He was reading books in the Preschool Room and I reminded him that the closest chair to the book rack is available for sitting and reading. He just looked at me. Yes you know the look. "Oh I get it; you're pooping." (I know that look too.) :) Bingo! 

Next picture: It was SO nice outside this morning. Felt like early Fall and not that close to winter!! Not complaining although we do need the moisture, but 60 degrees 1st day of December I'll take it!! The boys were on the airplane doing some teeter-tottering and Svea joined them and said, "And I'M the driver!!" Which surprised absolutely no one. Haha. They rode bikes, petted a dog when a nice neighbor stopped, rode in the wagons, played with cars on the race track toy, and did lots of sidewalk chalk like you see in the last picture.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
