Cal - 12/02/2021

Callahan ate two servings of blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, olives, pineapple, peppers, and tomato sauce. He ate whole wheat pizza crust on the side and pineapple on the side.

Cal and Miles were doing a "new thing" (Old, but new to them. Ha.) running to the window to wave bye at Mommy Emily. One or both of them are usually saying, "My Mom, My Mom, My Mom." (It rarely happens with Daddy Colin because Cal is usually the first one here.) So thanks to Cal this morning running to the window he was saying, "I win, I win, I win." And of course Miles was echoing that; "I win, I win, I win." Ha. (It's all age appropriate.)

First picture: Cal went to the cozy corner surrounded by all the stuffed animals and started telling Miles; "My stuffed animals. My stuffed animals." Haha. Little Turkey. But Miles happened to be engrossed with the legos and didn't take the bait. That's a rarity!! Haha.

Next pictures: The kids were doing some Art at the table so I brought the bowl to the table so they could watch while I mixed the meats and spices together. Then while they were eating lunch we talked about watching me mix it before it went into the oven. Second picture: Cal did stickers today and it's the most he's ever done by himself without my assistance. He worked super hard at it and was successful. 

Last picture: So we went on a "Field Trip" today looking for Christmas books for the kids!! The kids were delighted to be able to "travel" upstairs above the garage!! This is just one corner of many corners and there is a lot to look at. Ha. Just an FYI, we had a very large garage sale in 2013 when we downsized from a Group Home to my Family Home Program. :) Side note Miracle; We found the books I was looking for!

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
