Cal - 12/03/2021

Callahan ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.  

I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and he was playing under the "fort" (Nora's word) or "cave" (Svea's word) leftover from yesterday afternoon when Nora and Svea were playing under there. The kids continued to enjoy this spot through the morning with surprisingly very little conflict. Good job all three of you - Cal, Miles, and Svea!!

I came out from the kitchen and Queen Svea had the boys standing at attention so I took this next picture. I don't know what she was playing, but they were attempting to do as they were told! Ha. A few minutes later they were back at the same spot, except that time they were watching the guys across the street spray paint the house on the corner. 

More activities from this morning: Svea was waiting for Miles to get ready to jump and then all jump together. As you can imagine that rarely works!! Ha. Look at Cal's expression. He has his own idea about when to jump!! Last picture: I like this picture because all three are very much into the Art work they were just starting! Question: Why does Miles have on his pajamas!?! Answer: It was close to Lunch Time and he'd just pooped.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
