Cal - 12/07/2021

Callahan ate half of his whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, ate his beets, and ate his applesauce. Just an FYI: Cal's coughing is not nearly as bad as yesterday. Thank Goodness.

I took this first picture shortly after arrival when Cal and Miles were doing some coloring with the markers. I asked Cal; "Are you gonna use just one color all day?" Cal said, "Yes, I'm making all rainbows!" Haha. Look at his face; he was totally being silly. Speaking of silliness; he was also being silly when he said, "Grandpa Gary! You're silly!" Haha. You got that right Buddy!!

Next picture: Cal was standing on the three blocks and Miles was attempting to do the same with four blocks. Hmmm..no that didn't work! Ha. Then Cal said to Miles, "How about we have a ready-set-go contest!?" Haha. This picture basically represents the results of the contest!! Goofy boys. I was laughing so stinking hard. Great entertainment. The following picture represents a more calm moment of the morning activities.

Last picture: The kids were running in circles using the step as part of their track. And they did it for a long time. Svea and Cal would occasionally lap Miles, but he didn't care or maybe he didn't even notice. Ha. You never know with this age group. Sometimes they see everything and miss nothing. Sometimes, well it's just the opposite.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
