Cal - 01/25/2022

Callahan ate waffle and grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple slices. At Lunch Cal randomly said something he frequently hears me saying: "What did you say!?! I have NO idea what you're talking about!!" Haha. He knew he was being funny and that made me laugh. I said, "You're a funny kid Cal." Cal said, "Well you're funny too Gary!!" :) Two comedians complimenting each other. Haha.

It was nice to have Callahan back today and Miles was very happy too. It's very cute to watch when they've not seen each other for a few days. So happy and getting along splendidly!! And it lasted most of the morning. They were bouncing and jumping on the mattress and Cal asked Miles, "Can I hit you?" Miles said, "Yes." So Cal gave him a nice straight jab to the belly. I honestly hated to intervene, but it was about to escalate!!  LOL! "Remember Boys, we don't hit each other at Gary's Daycare." (At least Cal asked for permission. Ha.)

This first picture made me laugh!! For any readers who may not know - Cal spent a few days quarantined in the basement with his Mommy who was also quarantining. Back to the picture: Cal said, "Hey Miles! You wanna go into the basement?!?" (Under the blue balance beam.) Haha. Second picture; Cal was trying to coax Miles into spinning the swivel/rocker around and around. And Miles was trying to tickle Cal. The first thing Cal asked when he saw the chair; "Why did you move this chair out here?!?" It's been out for two weeks and he's the first one who's noticed it's a different chair. Same kind of chair, different material. The other chair pretty much fell apart. Ha.

Next two pictures: Still in the "nice to have you back" phase of the morning. Even sharing puzzles and activities in the Preschool Room. Although if you look closely you'll see Miles has about 3 puzzle pieces in his left hand. Haha. Right when I was taking the picture he scooped them up so Cal couldn't get them. Ha. Following picture: Sorting colored bears into the right colored cups.

Last picture: If you look at Cal's hands you'll see he's wearing his socks on his hands. And he'd been doing that for several minutes. Of course Miles wanted to do the same thing so Cal was trying to help his friend. They finally got Miles' socks off and Cal said, "Ok Miles! Now put em on!!" Haha. Miles never did get them on his hands. :)
